Not exactly what I was expecting. I don't know how excited I am for the record after watching youtube videos, but I'll be buying it.

So I was at the last game of the season for the Minnesota Twins today.

As some of you may know, the Tigers and Twins went into the last games of their season tied for the lead in the AL Central (Twins already clinched the wild card.) The Tigers already had the regular-season tie-breaker, so the Twins needed to be one game ahead. Losses by the Tigers and Twins for the first 2 games of the last series made it all come down to the last game.

I sat in my six-dollar seat, watching the Twins pull ahead of the White Sox, and appear to have the game. The Tigers vs. Royals being updated for each out on the scoreboard to my right. 6-0, Tigers, after 3 innings, and things didn't look hopeful for the Twins becoming AL Central-Division Champions with home-field advantage and playing the A's, not the Yanks in the first round.
