17/12: Couples Retreat
A new fucking movie where they play husband and wife. Couple Retreat
If you know me, you know how this makes me feel.
From TVGuide:
"Kristen Bell, Kristin Davis and Malin Akerman are packing up for a Couples Retreat.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the ladies have signed on to co-star in the upcoming Universal comedy chronicling four couples who partake in therapy sessions at a tropical island resort. And no, you're not counting wrong — there's still a female role open.
The XY halves, on the other hand, have all been cast. They are Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau (who wrote the script), Jason Bateman and Faizon Love.
Bell will play Bateman's wife; Davis, Favreau's; and Akerman, Vaughn's.
Poor Faizon. Someone hook him up with a woman STAT!
Shooting will take place in Bora Bora and LA. Peter Billingsley will direct and Scott Stuber is slated to produce."

First off, I know it's kinda gay I really wanted to see this movie, but if you weren't already aware, I do have a strong desire to tickle my sigmoid colon with blunt objects. Secondly, it was an above average film. David Frankel (I think he did some Sex and the City stuff) has a whole bunch of unique shots during conversations that really draw you into the settings. Blah blah, like anyone cares. Now the whole plot was kinda lame, but it doesn't matter cause Meryl Streep kind of nails her character like I hit my twelve year-old sister with a crowbar last week, and Anne Hathaway does the "little girl in the big city" thing that's always cute to me.
There's a scene where you are with Hathaway's character, Andi, and you know that all of this fashion business is superficial, and you can

18/05: HUGE FUCKING NEWS
Being the poster boy for MTV as the host of Total Request Live gave him a reputation as a douche bag, but even he agrees that he was an MTV tool. He respectfully worked in radio for years then went to work for "the walmart of music (his words)" MTV, and eventually moved onto his own late night show "Last Call with Carson Daly."
I pretty much pinpointed Carson as a tool like everyone else, until I heard some interviews, watched his show, and listened to him as a guest host on loveline. I won't blame him for taking a good job with MTV, and eventually moving on to NBC, late-night leaders.
